Want to save money on tolls? Get a SunPass account! This account type requires the purchase and activation of a transponder and is for non-commercial users with owned, leased, or rented vehicles and/or trailers. Please review additional information for this account type.
- SunPass customers save an average of 25% on tolls in Florida when compared to TOLL-BY-PLATE!
- Only one license plate per SunPass Mini transponder as it adheres to vehicles windshield.
- SunPass Mini can be used to pay tolls in Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and parts of Texas.
- Up to five license plates for SunPass PRO portable as it can be moved from car to car.
- SunPass PRO can be used to pay tolls in 22 states including Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and parts of Texas, plus everywhere E-ZPass is accepted.
- Eligible for Easy Pay automatic replenishment.
- With Easy Pay enrollment you can use your SunPass to pay for parking at SunPass Plus parking facilities throughout the state.
- Account can be reloaded with Cash, Credit Card, or Bank Account.
- Up to 100 transponders per SunPass account
- Minimum starting balance of $10, plus the transponder purchase price.
- Single prepaid balance will be shared with all transponders listed on account.

- Avoid the $2.50 Administrative Charge per invoice by keeping funds in your Prepaid TOLL-BY-PLATE account.
- Up to 5 license plates per Prepaid TOLL-BY-PLATE account.
- Eligible for Easy Pay automatic replenishment.
- Not eligible for SunPass Plus parking.

Travel the Pinellas Bayway often? Get a SunPass Account for Pinellas Bayway Commuters! This account type requires a transponder and is for any two-axle vehicle. Please review additional information for this account type.
- Cost of the plan is $50 per year, per transponder
- Annual Commuter Pass is valid from October 1 – September 30.
- Please note: Plan will expire on September 30 regardless of when it is purchased.
- If you are enrolled in Easy Pay, the plan will automatically renew each year in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
- Pass is valid at all three Pinellas Bayway Toll Plazas - Eastern Plaza (SR 682), Western Plaza (SR 682), and (SR 679).
- The SunPass transponder will function at all toll facilities in accordance with the prepaid balance Terms and Conditions.
Commercial Accounts are for companies or businesses with owned, leased or rented vehicles and/or trailers and must meet the following requirements
- A current Federal Identification Number (FEIN)
- Prepaid application:
- Minimum purchase of 101 transponders
- Minimum opening balance of $1,000 + transponder purchase price
- Minimum replenishment amount is $250
- Minimum of one vehicle and maximum of two vehicles per transponder purchased
- Application subject to review and approval
- Postpaid application:
- Minimum purchase of 101 transponders
- Minimum of one vehicle and maximum of two vehicles per transponder purchased
- A postpaid account application requires a security bond
- Application subject to review and approval
Government Accounts are for public agencies at the Federal, State or Local level and must meet the following requirements
- Minimum of one vehicle and one transponder
- Requires purchase order
- Application subject to review and approval
